Support of a Butte County Charter that defines actual county government operations, that coordinates legislative and administrative functions, and that is adaptable to changing requirements of county government.
Position In Brief: 

 

  1. Support of a thoroughly revised Butte County, county charter.
  2. Support inclusion within the County Code for the office of Chief Administrative Officer.
  3. Support of the appointment of certain county officers who are now elected and whose jobs are mainly administrative.
  4. Support codification and a clear definition of the responsibility and authority of county officers.
