Let's Rally Together for the Right to Vote!

Santa Clara County's Women’s Equality 2020 Leadership Council invites everyone to stand in solidarity, as one county together, and recognize the need to continue mobilizing for our present-day community and generations to come.

Join us for the kick-off rally of a year-long celebration to honor the sacrifices made by generations before us that led to the 1920 adoption of the 19th amendment granting American women the right to vote.

Show the world you care:

  • Wear white to honor the brave women of the past and the present
  • Get up on a soapbox and declare your support for equality and the right to vote
(soapboxes provided, please speak briefly, speakers will be rewarded with a sash)
  • Show the Press Conference at 11:00 am how many people care about our freedom

While this event is free, the Council needs a headcount for planning purposes, so please pre-register by September 1st..
