Santa Clara County

  • Measure A: Santa Clara County Sales Tax Renewal
    • A yes vote approves renewing the one-eighth cent (0.125 percent) sales tax to fund general countypurposes.
    • A no refuses renewing the one-eighth cent (0.125 percent) sales tax to fund general county purposes.
    • The general purposes include local priorities such as: 
      • law enforcement and public safety;
      • trauma and emergency care;
      • affordable housing;
      • supportive services for the homeless;
      • transit for seniors and the disabled;
      • children and family services;
      • agricultural preservation; and
      • mental health services.

City of Sunnyvale

  • Measure K: Sunnyvale Hotel Tax Increase
    • A yes vote approves increasing Sunnyvale's hotel tax from 10.5 percent to 12.5 percent to fund general city purposes.
    • A no vote refuses increasing Sunnyvale's hotel tax from 10.5 percent to 12.5 percent to fund general city purposes. 

  • Measure L: Amendment to the Sunnyvale City Charter Procedure on City Council Vacancies 
    • A yes vote approve amending the city charter to allow the city council to decide whether to fill a vacancy through an appointment or a special election.
    • A no vote refuses amending the city charter to allow the city council to decide whether to fill a vacancy through an appointment or a special election.

Sunnyvale School District

  • Measure GG:Sunnyvale School District Bond Issue  
    • A yes vote authorizes the district to issue up to $100 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.01 per $100 in assessed property value to fund facility upgrades. 
    • A no vote refuses to authorize the district to issue up to $100 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.01 per $100 in assessed property value to fund facility upgrades.
    • The facility upgrades include:
      • continuing critical renovation and modernization at Sunnyvale schools,
      • improving energy efficiency, and
      • upgrading safety and technology

  • Measure CC: Fremont Union High School District Bond Issue 
    • A yes vote authorizes the district to issue up to $275 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.016 per $100 in assessed property value to fund facility upgrades.  
    • A no vote refuses to authorize the district to issue up to $275 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.016 per $100 in assessed property value to fund facility upgrades.
    • Facility upgrades include:
      • Safety updates,
      • General repairs,
      • educational programs,
      • technology, and
      • upgrades to facilities.
