We are in the last days before the 2024 General Election! There is still much work to be done, but if we all collaborate, we can accomplish a lot! This election is so important to our democracy, so we can't stop; we must continue the movement and do something! To that end, we plan to come together to continue our work in the community.

The Matheson History Museum and the LWVAC are partnering together to present “Building Resilience to Mis/Dis Information.” LWVAC members Candy Birch, Alison Keel, and Gwendolyn D.

This event had been canceled due to lack of volunteers. Hopefully we'll see you next month.

This League at the Library event will take place at the Micanopy Branch Library and will be an indoor event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.
