The Valley Book Club will meet via Zoom to discuss the book The Agitators: Three Friends Who Fought for Abolition and Women's Rights by renown author, Dorothy Wickenden. This is a story set in pre-Civil War America of three women who fought for abolition of slavery and for women's rights. Ms. Wickenden used letters and extensive research to trace the friendship and activism of Harriet Tubman, Martha Coffin Wright and Frances A. Seward. We welcome new readers to our group!
