It’s the New Year –and time for some resolutions you can keep!  January kicks off with a series of strategic planning meetings.  But for you Voter Service buffs – your primary date is January 12th from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at the Contra Costa Water District, 1331 Concord Ave in Concord.

We will once again be celebrating our many, many Voter Service successes this past election season, with County Clerk & Registrar Joe Canciamilla giving us a behind-the-scenes look at how the elections department facilitated registering voters and made voting easier; resulting in one of the largest turnouts ever. 

If you helped to register voters (students, elderly, Spanish speakers, impoverished neighborhoods), produce candidate forums (live or taped), facilitate Voters Edge candidate participation, present Pros & Cons ballot issue programs,  extract ballots, or you helped drive to Martinez on election night – we can use your insights on how to improve our efforts.

Celebrate the New Year with the League of Women Voters as we hold our Election Review Saturday, January 12th from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Contra Costa Water District headquarters.  Joe Canciamilla is our speaker – but you are our program as well.   Martha Goralka, Voter Service Chair
