City officials in Long Beach and across Los Angeles County fanned out to campuses on National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, Sept. 25, to rally students to register and preregister to vote and The League of Women Voters Long Beach was there with a booth registering college students.

Thanks to long time member Zhita Rea and our new member, Cal State Long Beach University Professor, Suzan Gridley, our League had a booth on the Cal State Long Beach campus on Voter Registration Day on Sept. 25th.  They are joined by Mayor Garcia with Deborah Chankin and Janet Rosenblatt in this photo.
