    1. Speaking on changes he has helped to bring about in the 9th district
  1. Doris Topsy-Elvord, First African American POLB Harbor Commissioner and co-founder of the African American Heritage Society of Long Beach
  1. LaVerne Duncan, Executive Director, Andy Street Community Association
    1. Laverne will talk about changes at Andy Street and her recollection of voting when she was growing up 
  1. Daryn Rocket and Maya Chaney, Long Beach Poly High School
    1. Brief history of voting for African Americans in the US and youth voter preregistration 

Following the speaker presentation, we will have an audience discussion on…..“How has the right to vote, and your voting changed, in your opinion,  the communities/community in which you have lived/live.”
