A Panel Discussion on Youth Resources
The LWVLB Criminal Justice Reform Committee will host an informative event via ZOOM focused on resources for youth.

Panelists will include:
Utilia Guzman from Pacific Gateway - She will talk about employment and training programs YOUTH@WORK, the COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT and WIOA YOUTH ACADEMIES
Sonia De La Torre-Iniguez, Linda Nayeli Olmos from LBCC Justice Scholars and Dr. Adrian Huerta of USC - will speak about their work helping gang-associated youth get to college, "Expanding Pathways to Higher Education for System-Impacted Individuals: Phoenix Scholars and Justice Scholars"
Carolyn Bell, Executive Director of the Long Beach Bar Foundation, will talk about the SHORTSTOP diversion, intervention and prevention program for ages 10-18.
