You cannot deny that the movement that Parkland Florida High School students started shows no signs of slowing down.

This is a topic that will include young local activists from Cal State Long Beach who are getting involved in government, what they are doing and why they got involved.

Bring your sons and daughters to this event as they will gain some great insight from our future political leaders.

The event proved to be a fantastic and informational couple hours.

Speakers included students from the CSULB President's Ambassador Program, Brianna Guzman and Rhyane Shanley who spoke about the program and what the active students are doing to be better leaders and help their beach community and Long Beach communities. We also heard from Robina Henson - Former Chief Justice CSULB ASI Student Government who worked to get a Student Legal Aid office on campus later this year. She is graduating within 3 years and has plans to go to Law School. Photos below are with the Speakers and LWV Committee Members - Professor Suzan Gridley and Lisa Andria
