Your are invited to join the Historical Society of Long Beach for an oral history with LWVLBA member Renee Simon. Renee has been with the League since 1952 and served in numerous positions, most currently as our Voter Services Chair. Did you know Renee was the first woman elected to the Long Beach City Council? She remains active in the city to this day as a member of the city’s Arts Commission and Friends of the Library.

Renee has contributed so much to the League and our community and has an amazing story to tell.
