We have a new location for our 2023 Annual Meeting!
Mark the date for this important League event.
When: Saturday, June 24, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Doors open at 9 a.m. for registration and continental breakfast.
Where: San Mateo Public Library, 55 West Third Avenue, San Mateo,
in the library’s Oak Room. Parking is available in the garage beneath the library.
We will transact the League’s business of approving the annual budget, approving the issues for emphasis, and electing the Board of Directors for the coming year.
We will also welcome an exciting speaker, Judge LaDoris Cordell, the first African American woman to sit on the Superior Court of Northern California. Judge Cordell is the author of Her Honor, My Life on the Bench...What Works, What's Broken, and How to Change It. From her experience inside our justice system, Judge Cordell has drawn stories that are humorous, inspiring, and sometimes deeply troubling. You’ll want to hear her prescriptions for reform.

- the agenda for our annual meeting
- our proposed budget for 2023-24
- the Nominating Committee’s slate of candidates for our board
- the issues for emphasis chosen by our members at the program planning meeting in January
- county issues agreed to at County League Day in March
