Do you have Project Manager Experience?  Are you a good Administrator? Would you like to help the League organize Voter Registration events or Candidate Forums before elections?

The League of Women Voters of Oakland's Nominating Committee is looking for people who would like to serve on the Board of Directors as Administrative Vice President or Voter Service Vice President.  The Board meets monthly in the evening, currently the second Monday evening, but possible moving to the first Wednesday.

We are also looking for people who would like to serve on- or off-board to organize volunteers to do voter registration or to produce candidate forums before elections.

Full job descriptions and how-to manuals are provided; mentoring by outgoing leaders available.

Consider becoming a League leader in our non-partisan, almost 100 year-old organization!

Not ready for a leadership position, but interested in volunteering?  Take a look at our Website (lwvoakland.org) to get an idea of our Voter Service and Advocacy activities, then get in touch with us. There's lots to do in the busy year ahead.
