Help prevent voter disenfranchisement, secure access for voters with disabilities, and provide language access for limited English speaking voters at polling places throughout Alameda County on March 3. Volunteers of all backgrounds are welcome. No experience needed. Volunteers will be fully trained and equipped with a variety of resources, including a live hotline for any questions on Election Day. Teams will fill out a checklist for each of the five polling places visited and report any problems through established procedures. Those who are not attorneys or law students receive a $75 stipend for working a 4-hour shift. Sign up at https://www.advancingjustice-alc.org/votingrights/poll-monitoring/.
