Voter Service Committee*

In very short order this fall, Voter Service Chair Vickie Chenevey, with a big assist from Michele Musacchio, put together a strong team to assist with voter registration during UC Irvine’s orientation week. Planning is underway for both voter registration and Pros and Cons presentations for the 2018 election cycle. Watch for announcements of voter registration training and work on these projects.

In order to engage voters early in the Annual Town Meeting legislative process, The LWV Hingham hosts an annual public review of the content of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant.

The forum gives citizens the opportunity to review Articles and ask questions. They can then follow up by attending Advisory Committee meetings at which the Advisory Committee will discuss its recommendations for the particular articles in which the citizens are interested.
