12 Angry Men Performed by 12 Impassioned Women
...And LWV of Orange Coast Voter Registration
Laguna Playhouse is pleased to join women on stages across the country in presenting a play-reading of Reginald Rose's classic courtroom drama 12 Angry Men.
Written in 1954, 19 years before women were permitted to serve on juries in all 50 states, Rose’s drama will be presented across the country in a national initiative to highlight the power we each have by simply speaking up. Join us in celebrating the importance of each and every voice whether it be as a juror or a voter!
Laguna Playhouse will partner with League of Women Voters of Orange Coast to offer voter registration for guests prior to the performance. You'll have the opportunity to update your own voter registration, and we'll provide materials that will help you engage others in our community so that, together, we can increase voter registration and turnout, and have all our voices heard!
Please arrive early if you intend to register to vote or to update your registration.
A post-play discussion will take place after the staged reading. There is no cost for this performance.
