Election Message from Virginia Kase, CEO LWV of US

Election Day 2018 is officially one week away! I hope you will join me and millions of Americans in casting your ballot on or before Tuesday, November 6.

Americans across the country, including many here at LWVUS, have already cast ballots at early voting sites or by mail. As for me, my sons and I will be at the polls first thing Tuesday morning. It is always thrilling to participate in this most important aspect of our democracy. I will proudly wear my I voted sticker all day long!

If you’ve already voted early or created your election plan, now is the time to encourage your friends and family to do the same. We’ve even created a fun photo frame for sharing your election plan on Facebook.

Still need info on your ballot, candidate stances, or where and how you can vote?

The League of Women Voters’ election website,, is a one-stop shop for everything you need to develop your election plan. We hope you’ll send your friends, family, co-workers, and all the voters you know to VOTE411 for basic “how-to-vote” information as well as candidate responses to nonpartisan questions on the issues.

There’s so much at stake in this election, and we need your voice to be heard. In this time of great political divide, voting brings us together as Americans – it is the one time when we are all equal. So get out and be a voter next Tuesday!

Did you know the OC ROV allows League of Women Voters members to serve a half-day IF you have a League or non-League partner who will serve the other half-day. Individuals must coordinate this and inform the ROV. Call 714-954-1901 to volunteer.
