In 2016, California passed the End of Life Option Act which, under certain specific circumstances, provides terminally ill individuals with the right to end their life. Please join us to learn more about this new law. 

Thalia DeWolf, RN, a certified hospice and palliative care nurse, is the Clinical Coordinator of Bay Area End of Life Options, founded by Dr. Lonny Shavelson, an expert on the topic. Their medical practice has more experience with patients requesting "medical aid in dying" than any other in the state. Thalia will describe the new law, as well as how patients receive complete end-of-life care as well as the option of medical aid in dying.
