Come hear Ann Ravel, former Chair of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and the California Fair Political Practices Commission, speak about iCivics, the organization
founded by Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor to encourage and teach students to become active and engaged citizens.

This event is free and open to the public.

The League of Women Voters works to promote civic education and help inform and educate citizens, and we are continuously looking at new ways and methods on how we can be more effective to promote this work.

Civic education programs like iCivics can help our students, new citizens and the community benefit from greater understanding of the structure of government; rights and responsibilities; and methods of public engagement.

With many thanks and warm regards, Karen Kalinsky and Diane Rolfe
