Each month, the League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County brings together our members and the community at large to learn about timely, emerging and vital civic issues.

Our speaker for September is Stanislaus County Sherriff Jeff Dirkse, who will provide us with an update on the state of immigration enforcement across our community. He will also offer his perspective on the impending update to the county's emergency dispatch system and is open to tackling any areas of interest raised by our attendees.
