Finalists Are Named for Superintendent/President
Four candidates will participate in live, online public “Q & A” forums
 
TORRANCE—Four finalists have been selected in a nationwide search to become Superintendent/President of the El Camino Community College District. A series of open forums have been scheduled April 28 and 29 to allow members of the community to meet and hear candidates answer pre-submitted questions. The deadline to submit questions is Monday, April 26 at 8 p.m. via the online form. College faculty, staff, administration, students, and community members are invited to submit questions and attend. Due to potential time restrictions, all questions may not be answered or may possibly be combined into specific topic categories.
 
Each finalist is listed below with direct links to their complete biographies and photo. The dates and times of their public forum interviews and corresponding Zoom links are also included below.
 
Dr. Santanu Bandyopadhyay: Wednesday, April 28, 1 p.m.  Zoom Link
Dr. Santanu Bandyopadhyay currently serves as the interim President of Modesto Junior College. Prior to this assignment, he was the President of Columbia College since July 2018.  
Dr. Stephanie R. Bulger: Thursday, April 29, 1 p.m. Zoom Link
Dr. Stephanie R. Bulger is the Vice Chancellor, Instructional Services at the San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) in San Diego, California, one of the largest community college districts in the nation.
 
Dr. David Doré: Wednesday, April 28, 3 p.m. Zoom Link
Dr. Doré has served as President at Pima Community College District (PCC) in Arizona since 2014 and currently serves as President of Campuses and Executive Vice Chancellor.
 
Dr. Brenda Thames: Thursday, April 29, 3 p.m. Zoom Link
Dr. Brenda Thames has over 23 years of experience in instruction, student services, and administration in California Community Colleges. She currently serves as the President of West Hills College Coalinga.
