The LA County Registrar/Recorder's office is asking for volunteers for the March 3, 2020 primary. They are looking for many, MANY volunteers because of the new election setup/system and extended voting days. Below is a memo from the LA County Registrar/Recorder's office:
Greetings from Pollworker Services,
We are recruiting Vote Center clerks for the 3/3/20 Presidential Primary Election. We are offering 11 days of continuous voting.There are three schedules for our Large Vote Center clerks to serve. A 6 hour Training class is mandatory and pays $80. Each day of service pays $100.
All that is required to serve is Social Security Number and that you be a registered voter. If you know of anyone who may be interested in serving, please have he/she contact me asap as positions are filling quickly. If they are not a registered voter they can register online at LAVote.net
- Schedule A: Feb 22 thru March 3rd. The hours are 7AM to 6PM every day. 6AM to 9PM March 3rd. = $1180
- Schedule B: Feb 22, Feb 23 with a five day break and back Feb. 29 thru March 3rd = $680
- Schedule C: March 3rd = $180
