LA County voters in Senate District 30 are in the process of voting in-person and by-mail now through March 2 in a special election to fill the seat vacated by Holly Mitchell when she was elected to the LA County Board of Supervisors last fall.
With the coronavirus pandemic still affecting all of us, leading even more people to face housing insecurity and homelessness, we need leaders in Sacramento who will prioritize affordable housing for all, ending homelessness, and an equitable post-pandemic recovery.

Joss Tillard-Gates, Senior Program Directory at Enterprise Community Partners, will moderate the forum. Joss serves on the SCANPH Board of Directors, chairs the SCANPH Policy Committee, and also serves on the Board of Directors of Abundant Housing LA Education Fund.
This forum is co-sponsored by Abundant Housing LA, Enterprise Community Partners, Social Justice Learning Institute, and United Way of Greater Los Angeles, which have all served on a planning committee to create the event.
All registered voters in Senate District 30 recently received Special Election ballots in the mail, which voters can return by mail or at a nearby ballot drop-box or voting center. Eligible voters can register to vote until today, Tuesday, February 16, in addition to same-day in-person conditional voter registration Wednesday, February 17 through Election Day, Tuesday, March 2.
