Attend a Vote Center Community Meeting!
The current voting experience you know now will change in March of 2020. Our office invites you to participate in a community meeting that will discuss the new voting experience in Los Angeles County.
One major change in 2020 will be the transition from polling places to Vote Centers. Vote Centers allow any voter to cast their ballot at any Vote Center location within the County over an 11-day period.
We want your feedback on where we should place these future Vote Centers! For more information, please visit: vsap.lavote.net/vote-center-placement-project
Why are we changing to the Vote Center model? The California Voter’s Choice Act was passed in 2016 to modernize elections in California by allowing counties to conduct elections under a new model, which provides greater flexibility and convenience for voters.
What’s different about Vote Centers? - Vote Centers will be open for an 11-day period for you to vote. - You can vote at any Vote Center throughout the County with full language services and expanded accessibility. - You can register and/or update your voter registration same-day.
