"In January 2019, Nicole Celaya became Executive Director at FoodLink for Tulare County after joining the board in 2015 and then accepting the position of Community Food Systems Director in 2017. Prior to joining FoodLink, Nicole taught English at Porterville College, was a union representative for the Kern Community College District, and mentored many students in community organizing around the needs of marginalized populations in Tulare County, including such issues as immigration, water rights, environmental stewardship, and local government. She is certified in Permaculture and group facilitation and is passionate about food and environmental justice."
