General Election Day - Nationwide. Delaware polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Delaware's law providing 10 days of early, in-person voting at selected locations is currently being challenged in court; early voting may not be provided prior to this year's general election .
The Sussex LWV will sponsor a candidate forum for County Council District 3, featuring Mark Schaeffer (R-incumbent) and Jane Gruenebaum (D). The event will also be live-streamed on
League of Women Voters and Girl Scouts of the USA partner to Empower Next Generation of Civic Leaders. In support of this partnership, Chesapeake Bay Girl Scouts & League of Women Voters of Delaware will host Promise of Democracy Event on 10/26/24.

The Sussex LWV and Delaware LWV will co-sponsor a gubernatorial candidate forum featuring Matt Meyer (D) and Michael Ramone (R). LWVDE President Tiffany Geyer Lydon will moderate.
Sussex LWV will sponsor a candidate forum between HR District 20 incumbent Stell Parker-Selby (D) and Dr. Nikki Miller (R). Margaret LaFond of the League of Women Voters of Delaware will moderate.
