  • April 25 (5:30pm):  Chasing Ice,  Second film in a series to be presented by The Rehoboth Beach Public Library.  A story about National Geographic photgrapher, James Balog, across the Artic capturing the changing glaciers. Film length =75 minutes.
     
  • May 2 (5:30pm):  Merchants of Doubt, Third film in a series to be presented by The Rehoboth Beach Public Library.  A story about pundits for hire who present themselves as authorities on topics such as toxic chemicals, pharma, and climate change.  Film length= 96 minutes.

  • May 4th (9-1pm):  Natural Plant Sale and Green Living Expo, held by the Delaware Center for Inland Bays at the James Farm Ecological Preserve, 30048 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View.  Details available at www.inlandbays.org/plantsale.
  • May 5 (10am - 12noon):  Beachnesting Birds Training at Cape Henlopen State Park Biden's Training Center, for volunteers wanting to help protect the piping plovers.  Preregistration encouraged. 
  • May 07, 2019 (8am) Spring Migration Bird Walks,  Cape Henlopen State Park.  Search the park for birds on their spring migration. Each walk will target current birding hot spots. For beginning and intermediate birders.  Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair of ours. FREE Program with paid park entrance fee.
  • May 9 (5:30pm):  Paris to Pittsburgh, Fourth film in a series to be presented by The Rehoboth Beach Public Library. A story about individuals who are battling the most severe effects of climate change in their own backyards. Film length= 90 minutes.
  • May 18, 2019 (Saturday) 6 pm Meal at the Mill, Abbot's Mill Nature Center, Milford, DE.  Enjoy a flannel-formal, country-chic meal under the stars with a menu pairing by Nash’s Veggies in Lincoln, DE, Blue Water Grill in Millsboro, DE, and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE. The evening will also feature an exclusive showing of Patagonia’s “Unbroken Ground” short-film highlighting the regenerative agriculture movement and live music by Delaware’s own Homestead Bluegrass Band.  Register here.
