The annual League of Women Voters of Delaware Holiday Luncheon is being held on December 6th from 12:00-3:00pm at Dover Downs. This event is for the New Castle, Kent, and Sussex County Leagues. RSVP by November 30th.

The Land Use Committee of the League of Women Voters of Sussex County held its 16th Land Use Public Forum on 11/1/17. It was entitled, "Renewable Energy: Benefits and Opportunities in Sussex County." The forums focus on educating Sussex County residents on issues concerning the drafting of the 2018 Comprehensive Plan.

The LWVUS has requested that members contact the FEC to request that they act immediately to put forward updated regulations that require online campaign ads to include disclaimers letting people know who is funding them, just like television and print ads.
