2022 LWVNCA  Annual Convention will be virtual via Zoom.  Registration is free by Eventbrite; you must register to receive the Zoom link which will be sent out after you register.  Remember to register as a Delegate, if you are attending as such. Registration link is posted above and below.

Keynote Speaker is Ayo Atterberry, LWVUS Chief Strategy Officer, and the Presidents of LWVDC, LWVMD, and LWV-VA will give updates about the latest developments in voting rights and voting laws in the U.S. and in the Region.

Local Leagues appoint delegates as set out in the LWVNCA Bylaws, [copied below], based on membership as of February 1, 2022.  See chart that gives the number of delegates for your League.

LWVNCA Bylaws, Article VII, Convention
Section 2. Composition. The Convention shall consist of LWVNCA board members and of delegates representing member Leagues and Member-at-Large units (MAL), as follows:
(a) one delegate for each state member League, and
(b) Delegates for local member Leagues or MAL units, in the number provided by Section 4, below.
Section 4. Representation of Local Member Leagues. Delegates shall be selected in accordance with the bylaws of their respective Leagues or MAL units. Each local member League or MAL unit shall be entitled to three delegates; when a local League or MAL unit membership reaches 100 voting members, it shall be entitled to one additional delegate; thereafter one additional delegate shall be authorized for each additional 100 voting members as determined as of the reporting date required by LWVUS.
