The Good Trouble Vigil

 A Rally for ~ "For the People Act" and especially for the "John Lewis Voting Advancement Act" as well as for DC Statehood.

The Good Trouble Vigil is on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 8:00PM at BLM Plaza 

There will be a pre-vigil get-together at the DC League office for League members at 6:30 PM.  We will have a light supper (probably pizza) and distribute signs and Statehood buttons. We’ll then walk over to BLM Plaza at 7:30. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk -- about 1/4 mile away. Candles will be provided at the rally.

RSVP: by Friday, July 16 mid-day to statehoodteam [at] lwvdc.org , just so we will have enough food. Suggest folks bring a water bottle, you can refill it at our office.

President Chiron will be in the lobby of 1100 15th Street NW from 6:15 to 6:45 to facilitate entrance to the 4th floor.  Of course, please invite all to join in at the rally!
