Community Conversation: 2:00 - 3:30PM ET

Join us for a community conversation and discussion with our special guest: A'Lelia BundlesOn Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker – a New York Times Notable Book about her entrepreneurial great-great-grandmother – was the inspiration for Self-Made, the fictional four-part Netflix series starring Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer that premiered in March 2020. A'Lelia Bundles brings truth, humor, and warmth to the telling of her family’s stories. This will not be a presentation but a community conversation and discussion with our special guest, A'Lelia Bundles. Participants are encouraged to read the book as well as watch the documentary, Two Dollars and a Dream, available on YouTube prior to our discussion.
