Help us increase participation in elections!
Work the Election
There is a crucial need for more election judges this year. Judges of Election are paid to manage the precinct polling place and assist voters. Any U.S. citizen aged 16 or older may serve as an election judge with the appropriate training. Students are eligible, as schools will be closed for the state holiday on November 3. Unemployed individuals who serve as judges will not jeopardize their unemployment benefits. Learn more.
There are also paid positions available for the months leading up to the election. You can serve as an election worker during Early Voting or in the Board of Election Commissioners' office and warehouse. Learn more.
Spread the Word
Our get-out-the-vote efforts have been hindered by the pandemic. You can help by sharing election information with those in your network. Below are some resources that you can share online or print out and post wherever you can—in your apartment building, community centers, place of employment, etc. You can also share our website (lwvchicago.org) or chicagoelections.gov as online resources.
