Voting rights are under attack across the nation. Legislators have introduced over 360 voter suppression bills in 47 states. Enough is enough. Join a coalition of nonpartisan organizations honoring John Lewis's legacy by advocating for the passage of U.S. Senate Bill S1 For the People Act which eliminates voter suppression; U.S. House Bill HR4 the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and for removing the filibuster.

There will be two starting locations for this event: one in DuPage County at the IBEW Hall in Warrenville and one in Northwest Suburban Cook County in Palatine.

The Civic Awareness series sponsored by Wheaton LWV and the Robert McCormick House at Cantigny Park will be holding a ZOOM program featuring Madeleine Doubek, Executive Director of Change Illinois.
