  • SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2020: MARCH WITH THE LWVIL!

 

This is the first of two marches Chicao Women's March will be hosting this year. We are "in charge" of the last block of the five-block segment, which is themed "GET OUT THE VOTE." Click here for more details, but plan on meeting at 10:30 AM in the lobby of LWVIL offices (332 S. Michigan Avenue).
 
  • SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 2020: THE LWV ELMHURST CANDIDATE FORUM
 
 
 
Save the date for our candidate forum, which will be held on Sunday, January 26, at Elmhurst City Hall (209 N. York Street). Plan on being present to learn more about several candidates in upcoming local races!
 
5th Congressional Candidates: 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM
DuPage County Auditor: 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM
DuPage County Recorder of Deeds: 2:30 PM
DuPage County Clerk of the Circuit Court: 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM
DuPage County Judicial Seat (to fill Patrick O'Shea vacancy): 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
 
*Please note that final times and participants are subject to variation; we'll try to list updates as   they occur both here and on Facebook. Following the forum, we will keep you apprised of when televised footage of this event airs on local public access channels. Additionally, we will post questions that are part of the Illinois Voter Guide, along with written answers from candidates asked to participate on January 26 (including those who could not attend in person but who chose to submit feedback via the process described above).
