On October 26, 2026, the LWVPFA held a membership meeting and elected Diane Hodges and Dora Ivory as Co-Presidents.  The rest of the slate was re-elected -- Marva Campbell-Pruitt, VP; Gwen Maxie-Brown, Secretary; Cynthia Butler, Treasurer.   Members of the Nominating Committee -- Zaveola Coleman, Gail Graham, and Valerie Nicholson, chair -- were also elected.

In addition to the business meeting, the meeting featured a very informative, thought-provoking presentation by Donald McGruder of the NAACP, who is an expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as a presentation by Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon who spoke about election security. 

The meeting was very well attended by many guests as well as members.
