Due to Covid concerns, we are back to zoom for this meeting.  Our speaker will be Donna Miller, the Cook County Commissioner representing the 6th District which includes many of the communities in which our members live. .  Ms Miller is on many committees and Vice Chair of Contract Compliance, Veterans, and Workforce, Housing, and Community Development.   She is Chairperson of the Forest Preserve Contract Compliance Committee.  She brings to her post on the Cook County board a lengthy history of community, civic and political activity.  Additionally she possesses significant professional experience as a healthcare consultant who has worked with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Commissioner Miller will provide updates on critical topics of interest in the Southland including a forecast for economic growth, infrastructure, accessibitliy to healthcare and the impact of COVID-19 on the quality of life in our diverse community.
