You are cordially invited to a presentation by Kristina Lindborg, speaking on "From Argentina to Teaching to Reaching out for Climate Solutions" at the Lafayette Noon Rotary Club Tuesday, Aug. 27th Four Points by Sheraton 1600 Cumberland Ave., West Lafayette

  • Let Liz Solberg know by Sun., Aug. 18th if you would like to attend (additional count needed for food preparations); or if you have questions.
  • Cost: $14.00 payable at the door (cash; or check made out to the hotel; or credit card).
  • Arrive between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. for the buffet lunch; meeting begins at noon and adjourns by 1:00 p.m.; her presentation will be 20-25 minutes plus questions.

Additional Notes:

  • The April edition of the international Rotary quarterly magazine featured climate change with a specific article on Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL). This is a huge change within Rotary and a breakthrough for this issue. In the recent July edition, Kristina's was one of the letters-in-response.
  • Members of the local CCL group are also being invited to attend.
  • Another such opportunity will be on Nov. 12th to hear Jeff Dukes, Purdue Professor and Director of the Purdue Climate Change Research Center.
