On Tuesday, February 24, at 9pm ET, President Trump will deliver his 2026 State of the Union (SOTU) address.
The SOTU is a constitutional requirement in which the president delivers an annual message to a joint session of the US Congress. In theory, it is "a report on the nation's current state and a preview of the [p]resident's priorities and goals for the next year."
The address will be streamed via the White House and YouTube.
Each year, LWV creates BINGO cards to make the SOTU a more engaging process. However, if games feel less relevant to you than direct action (or you want to do both), we encourage you to use this SOTU to contact your representatives about the issues currently facing our nation, such as the SAVE Act suite of bills and ICE/DHS/CBP violence.
