Brookline League President Betsy Dewitt is flanked by the two speakers at Opening Meeting. To her right is Tina Cassidy, author of "Mr. President, How Long Must We Wait?" who spoke about her book on women getting the right to vote. On her left is local historian, Greer Hardwicke whose research showed that the Brookline League of Women Voters first formed in 1920.
