What is an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)? What is the Affordable Homes Act? What does it take to build an ADU in Lexington?
The League of Women Voters of Lexington is pleased to host a panel discussion to answer those questions and more. The panel will include:
- Charles Hornig (Lexington Housing Partnership, moderator)
- Tim O’Reilly (Backyard ADUs, builder)
- Jennifer Conroy (Cambridge Savings Bank, finance)
- Olivia Lawler and Bruce Dempsey (Town of Lexington, permits)
- Todd Burger (ADU owner)
Panelists will discuss the benefits and pitfalls of ADUs; new opportunities created by the Affordable Homes Act; and how to plan, design, finance, and build your own ADU.
