What values will guide your decision making on new development proposals?
When considering any proposal before the Planning Board
- I have been elected 3 times (2017, 2020, 2023) by Lexington residents to represent their best interests and the best interests of the Town.
- Ideological values are legitimate, but they should only be considered in addition to, and not instead of number 1 above
- Regional considerations are legitimate, but they should be considered in the context of number 1 above
Collaboration and Transparency
- I come to Board meetings prepared to communicate clearly with Applicants, the Board and Residents. I participate verbally and visually using slides that clarify my point of view. This brings clarity and adds credibility to suggestions that I make.
- I work with my Planning Board colleagues to arrive at consensus decisions as often as possible - something that we can all support with a "yes” vote.
- All Boards and Committees operate in a Democratic process - a willingness to compromise is necessary.
- I bring a balanced view to all my work on the Planning Board
