On July 30, Westwood’s Neighbors in Action, Inclusive Westwood and the Westwood/Walpole/Dedham League of Women Voters co-sponsored a public discussion via Zoom of the workings, policy and practices of the Westwood Police Department with Chief Jeff  Silva and Town Administrator Chris Coleman. Subjects included transparency, accountability, bias, de-escalation and use of force policies, community engagement and areas for improvement. Almost 140 people registered to attend.
