New Developments in Smart Energy
The League of Women Voters Holland Area is a member of the “Living Sustainably Along the Lakeshore” partnership. Each year this partnership offers a series of events to provide information on sustainable living to residents of the Holland area.
On October 22nd the partnership plans to offer an evening of information on the topic of “Smart Energy” at the Herrick District Library (main branch). The program will include
- An update of the Community Energy Plan by Dave Koster, General Manager of the Holland BPW.
- A report from Kris Hunter on how her startup company repurposes batteries to help power low income homes.
- A preview of what’s coming in the world of electric vehicles in the next five years by Robert DeNooyer.
