Helen Zeerip, owner of Teddy's Transport, founded the nonprofit Grant Me Hope in 2014. A foster mom for more than a decade and two time adoptive mom, Zeerip learned about the plight of foster children who were available for adoption, but aged out alone. She will share with the LWV the staggering statistics these children face without adoptive parents guiding them into adulthood; what Grant Me Hope does to help, what led her to start this mission, why it's important and how everyone can do something to help, even if they cannot foster or adopt.
