New Voting Rights will be the first topic of a series of Town Hall meetings presented in the Bay City and Midland Areas, courtesy of the League of Women Voters of Midland Michigan.
Cindy Levasseur and Kathryn Miller will be hosting a slide presentation on the New Voting Rights for Michigan Citizens (as passed by Proposal 3 in 2018). The Town Hall will be November 5th from 6-8pm at Bay City’s Jack and Alice Wirt Library, 500 Center Avenue, Bay City MI.
The League of Women Voters is please to present educational information on the implementation of Ballot Proposal 3, which amended the Michigan Constitution. This presentation will allow voters to learn more about the new voting rights and how they are being implemented. The presentation and discussion will also give voters the opportunity to learn about how the new voter rights will benefit them personally.
