Before September 7, contact your Senator. Again. Identify yourself as a CONSTITUENT and tell them to vote NO. 

Pack the State House in a show of opposition at 10 am, Tuesday, September 6 (Medical Affairs Subcommittee) and 10 am, Wednesday, September 7 (full Senate debate).

Recently, Governor McMaster has signed into law 2 bills that impact children and restrict access to healthcare. The “Save Women’s Sports Act” bans transgender students from playing girls’ or women’s sports in public schools and colleges. The “Medical Acts and Diversity Act” allows medical providers to deny services based on religious beliefs to people, including LGBTQ people.

Sponsored by the LWV of Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Area, this panel presentation will clarify the difference between facts and misinformation and enhance understanding of the complexities of gender and sexual identity, particularly as they relate to personal and political issues.
