2020 LWVNC Candidates Debate live streamed on NCTV 79. Following the policy of the National League of Women Voters, the New Canaan chapter will host the 2020 debate for contested State seats only. Participants: Lucy Dathan and Fred Wilms, Will Haskell and Kim Healy, and Ryan Fazio and Alex Kasser. Submit your questions ahead of time.

September 15, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of Connecticut Governor Holcomb calling the legislature into session to add Connecticut’s name to the list of states that approved the 19th Amendment.

The Wilton LWV will join the Wilton Kiwanis for a special virtual presentation by Dr. Gary L. Rose, professor and chair in the department of government at Sacred Heart University. In addition to his teaching, Professor Rose has published twelve books, including Connecticut government, the American presidency, constitutional law, and presidential elections.
