Dear Rivertowns Members,

Several members have suggested that we form a Rivertowns League book club.

Isabel Wilkerson, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of "The Warmth of Other Suns," has written "Caste: The Origins of our Discontents," a stunner that throws light on how and why America is still defined by a hierarchy of human divisions. In view of our determination to become a more diverse organization, we thought a group read and discussion could help us take that deep dive into racism and other discontents. 

We'll schedule a group discussion after the election. So read on…and we’ll get together on Zoom in November.
