 2019 ushers in reforms to New York State election law. Now there will only be one primary for New York State and it will be held on Tuesday, June 25th. To vote in the Primary you must be registered in your party. Not every race in November has a primary race in June. Here are the races we know about so far:

DEMOCRATIC PARTY

Greenburgh: Town Clerk and Town Council

Mt. Vernon: Mayor and City Councilperson

New Rochelle: Council districts #3 and #6

Westchester County Court Judge

Westchester County Legislature District #17 (Part of Yonkers)

White Plains: Common Council

Yonkers: Mayor and Council Districts #1 and #3

 

REPUBLICAN PARTY

Somers: Town Justice

Harrison: Town Justice

 

CONSERVATIVE PARTY

Somers: Town Justice

Harrison: Town Justice

Westchester County Legislature District #1 (Part of Cortlandt, Part Peekskill, Part of Yorktown)

 

WORKING FAMILIES PARTY

Cortlandt: Town Justice

 

GREEN PARTY

Westchester County Legislature District #4  (Yorktown, New Castle, Part of Somers)

Westchester County Legislature District #9 (Briarcliff Manor, Part of Cortlandt, Croton-on-Hudson, Ossining, Part of Peekskill)

Westchester County Legislature District #14 (Part of Mt. Vernon, Part of Yonkers)
