SPEAKERS FOR BOTH PROGRAMS:

David Noguera is Director of Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization for the City of Dallas and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley in International Development and a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University. 

Myriam Igoufe is a Co-Principal Investigator and Project Manager for the North Texas Regional Housing Assessment, which was mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She is the new Director of Housing Voucher Programs at the Dallas Housing Authority and works towards addressing livability challenges for low-income families in North Texas. 

Sandy Rollins isExecutive Director Texas Tenants Union with more than 35 years’ experience working with individuals, groups, and policy makers to protect and advance tenants’ rights in Texas and to preserve and improve federally subsidized housing.   

Sherman Roberts is President and CEO of City Wide Community Development Corporation since 2006 and chairman of the Dallas Housing Finance Corporation. He has much experience with the development of affordable housing in Dallas.

Janet Ahmad is Janet Ahmad is founder and president of HomeOwners for Better Building (HOBB), a national grassroots organization dedicated to assisting homeowners fight the epidemic of construction defects in home construction throughout the United States.
